Therapy to me is a means of developing tools ---tools to create positive relationships with the important people in our lives and with ourselves. When our tool kit is insufficient, we may feel stress, lack of energy, physical and emotional pain, depression, or anxiety. Learning new tools to improve our relationships and boost self-esteem leads to better overall functioning, and consequently, a more satisfying life. I employ a variety of complementary therapy approaches in the joint venture of improving one’s quality of life. The client remains at all times in control of his/her therapy, while I facilitate the effort toward growth and self-actualization.
